Payment Policy

Prices and payment terms are displayed in U.S. dollars. Full payment is required when an order is submitted.

Accepted Payments

Checkout displays the payment methods currently available for the customer’s device and location. These may include major credit or debit cards, Shop Pay, PayPal or other methods enabled through Shopify. A payment method shown at checkout is the authoritative list for that transaction.

Authorization and Charges

By submitting an order, the customer authorizes THE ELSE ARCHIVE and its payment processors to charge the total shown at checkout. An authorization may appear before the final charge. We may cancel an order when payment cannot be verified, appears unauthorized or is identified as high risk.

Prices and Taxes

Product prices exclude sales tax unless the checkout states otherwise. Applicable tax is calculated using the delivery address and shown before payment. We do not charge hidden handling fees. Standard U.S. shipping is free.

Payment Security

Payments are processed through Shopify and enabled payment providers. THE ELSE ARCHIVE does not receive or store a customer’s complete payment card number. Payment providers process payment data under their own privacy and security terms.

Payment Errors and Duplicate Charges

If checkout fails or a charge appears more than once, do not submit repeated orders. Contact support@theelsearchive.com with the order number and a description of the issue. Do not email complete card numbers, bank credentials or security codes.

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We do not send refunds to a different card, bank account or person. Approved return refunds are issued within 7 business days after the returned goods pass inspection.
